Dear Authors, As part of the ongoing update of its editorial policy and efforts to improve the quality and transparency of research reporting, the journal “National Healthcare” is implementing internationally recognized standards for the preparation and publication of scientific manuscripts in accordance with established reporting guidelines.
The «Author Guidelines» section has been updated and now includes relevant reporting checklists for different types of scientific publications:
● for systematic reviews and other review articles (Checklist for review submitted in English; PRISMA checklist for systematic review and meta-analysis); ● for original research articles (Checklist for original study submitted in English; STROBE checklist for case-control studies; STROBE checklist for cohort studies; CONSORT checklist when reporting a randomised trial). In addition, the journal website now provides recommendations for reporting studies involving artificial intelligence methods, as well as the TRIPOD+AI guideline for studies related to clinical prediction models and machine learning methods. The use of reporting checklists during manuscript preparation facilitates structured and transparent presentation of study design, methodology, and results, and may improve the likelihood of successful peer review and publication.
We strongly encourage authors to consult these materials at the stage of study planning and manuscript preparation prior to submission.
Should you have any questions regarding the use of the reporting checklists, please contact the Editorial Office.
